Job summary

Service Experts Heating & AC LLC is seeking an HVAC technician to diagnose and service residential and light commercial HVAC equipment. You will communicate with customers, resolve issues, and promote products and services during service visits.

Responsibilities include performing diagnostics, maintaining and repairing heating, cooling, ventilation, and related systems, and ensuring high customer satisfaction. Requires EPA/safety certifications and 2+ years in HVAC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with additional training and 2+ years’ experience in HVAC with technical training certification required.
• Must possess all valid licensing or certification as required by laws for the geographical work area; EPA and safety certifications required.
• Skilled at servicing heating, air conditioning, and ventilation equipment as well as related accessories.
• Proficient at reading wiring diagrams and troubleshooting problems with electrical, refrigerant and duct systems on HVAC equipment.
• Proficient and able to properly install a basic duct fitting.

Responsibilities

• Under minimal supervision, perform diagnostic and service work on residential or light commercial HVAC equipment and accessories.
• Communicate with customer to answer questions, resolve problems, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Promote products and services to customers; provide replacement product sales leads to Sales and Service Coordinator.
• Inspect equipment, perform diagnostics, and identify potential problems to prevent breakdowns or callbacks.
• Deliver and remove parts and equipment needed to complete service work; collect payment from customers.
