Job summary

Southern Air LLC in Monroe, LA is seeking a self-motivated HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. The role focuses on diagnosing and inspecting refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, while delivering strong customer service and participating in safety and manufacturer training.

The ideal candidate has HVAC training or certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to handle heavy equipment with outdoor work capability.

Qualifications

• Experience troubleshooting, repairing, and selling HVAC.
• HVAC degree or equivalent with certification from a technical/trade school.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment.
• Ability to work outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and inspect refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
• Demonstrate efficient and effective problem-solving skills.
• Maintain strong customer service.
• Attend periodic manufacturer training classes.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Ability to handle physical workload of at least 50 LBS
