Job summary

Southern Air of Monroe is seeking a self-motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our in-person team serving Monroe and Ruston. This full-time role offers hourly pay plus commission and uncapped earning potential.

You will diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment, present recommendations to customers, and emphasize service quality. Required: 15 years in HVAC, a related degree/certification, and a clean driving record; EPA II preferred. Training and growth opportunities included.

Qualifications

• 15 years HVAC service experience required.
• HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical/trade school.
• EPA Type II certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Present recommendations for new equipment and provide value to customer.
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
• Prioritize customer service and satisfaction.
• Attend periodic company or manufacturer training.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Consistently handle at least 50lbs.

What you will do:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment

• Ability to handle heavy equipment
• EPA Type II (Preferred)
