Job summary

Roberts Cooling, Heating, Plumbing and Electrical is seeking a self-motivated HVAC Service Technician to diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment. The role offers hourly pay plus commissions and an uncapped earning potential in a family-owned, growth‑oriented team in Gulf Shores, AL.

Qualified candidates have 1–5 years of HVAC installation experience or an HVAC degree with certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years HVAC installation experience preferred.
• HVAC degree or equivalent with certification from a trade school.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment.
• EPA Type II certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Present recommendations for new equipment and provide value to customer.
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills.
• Prioritize customer service and satisfaction.
• Attend periodic company or manufacturer training.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
• Consistently work with and handle at least 50lbs.

What you will do

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment
• Present recommendations for new equipment and provide value to customer
