Job summary

Southern Air of Baton Rouge is seeking a self-motivated HVAC Service Technician to diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment. You’ll earn hourly pay plus commission with uncapped potential and a strong benefits package.

A HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification and 1–5 years of service experience are preferred. A valid driver’s license with a clean record is required and you must lift at least 50 lbs.

What you will do:

• Diagnose and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment

• Present recommendations for new equipment and provide value to customer

• Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills

• Prioritize customer service and satisfaction

• Attend periodic company or manufacturer training

• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety policies and procedures

• Consistently work with and handle at least 50 lbs

Who you are:

• 1-5 Years HVAC service experience preferred

• HVAC degree or equivalent field experience with certification from a technical/trade school

• Valid driver’s license with clean motor vehicle record

• Ability to handle heavy equipment
