Job summary

Unitemp, a division of United Building Solutions, seeks an organized HVAC Service Coordinator / Dispatcher to keep our service operations efficient in New Jersey. You will coordinate 25+ HVAC technicians, support customers and vendors, and ensure timely project completion.

Ideal candidates excel in multitasking, communication, and delivering exceptional customer experiences, with a proactive and independent work style within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of dispatching or service coordination experience in HVAC, mechanical contracting, construction, plumbing, or electrical fields.
• Strong customer service and written/verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities.
• Proactive, dependable, and able to work independently while supporting a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dispatching and scheduling a team of 25+ commercial HVAC service technicians.
• Coordinate equipment, materials, permits, and field needs for daily operations.
• Manage preventive maintenance contracts and schedule quarterly visits.
• Communicate with customers regarding service requests and work status.
• Create and process work orders and purchase orders.
• Coordinate equipment orders and monitor vendor deliveries.
• Process warehouse returns and maintain documentation.
• File permits for HVAC service projects.
• Support the Service Director with administrative tasks.
• Help ensure a positive customer experience from initial service request through project completion.
