Job summary

You will report to the HVAC Service Manager and travel to client sites as needed. The role requires strong sales and customer service skills, the ability to read drawings, and collaboration with branch teams to ensure superior service from order through final billing.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience selling HVAC
• 5+ years of HVAC field experience or related experience
• Ability to read job specifications to determine proper use of products
• A valid driver’s license with a clear driving record
• Significant experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Excellent customer service skills
• Demonstration of a positive attitude
• Ability to think strategically and make sound decisions
• Ability to work well with multiple levels of employees and management
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Ability to perform basic business math
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Compliance with operating policies and procedures

Responsibilities

• Grow service maintenance base by selling commercial HVAC service, products & solutions to new and existing customers
• Maintain relationships with customers ensuring satisfaction with products and services
• Coordinate with branch personnel to ensure excellent customer service from order to delivery
• Perform customer surveys as required
• Develop and maintain vendor relations
• Obtain manufacturers’ certifications as needed
• Schedule and execute service calls
• Quote repair and project work with acceptable margins
• Travel to customers and job sites as required
• Read drawings to estimate and complete projects
• Review weekly job reports and keep billing on track
• Travel to corporate office for training and meetings
