HVAC Service Sales/Project Manager

Job summary

S.A. Comunale seeks an experienced HVAC sales professional to grow our service maintenance base and secure new commercial HVAC projects. You will prospect for new clients, maintain strong customer relationships, and coordinate with branch staff to ensure top-tier service from order through installation and ongoing maintenance.

Travel to client sites is required as part of the role. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of HVAC sales/field experience, a valid driver’s license, and strong MS Office

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 5+ years of sales experience selling HVAC is required.
• 5+ years of HVAC field experience or related experience is required.
• Ability to read job specifications to determine the proper use of products is required.
• A valid driver’s license with a clear driving record is required.
• Significant experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) applications is required.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Demonstration of a positive attitude is required.
• Ability to think strategically, make sound decisions, and produce accurate and timely results is required.
• Building positive working relationships with multiple levels of employees and management is required.
• Demonstrating integrity and professionalism is required.
• Demonstrating commitment to company values is required.
• Excellent organizational skills are required.
• Ability to follow-up on tasks and assignments in a timely manner is required.

Responsibilities

• Grow service maintenance base by selling commercial HVAC service, products & solutions to new and existing customers, including repair service, modernization, and service agreements where applicable.
• Maintain relationships with customers always ensuring their satisfaction with our products and services.
• Work with other branch personnel to ensure great customer service from the order to the delivery and beyond.
• Perform customer surveys as required/requested.
• Develop and maintain vendor relations.
• Obtain all manufacturers’ certifications required to perform job functions, as applicable.
• Complete proper scheduling and execution of service calls.
• Execute all Company processes and complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Review and approve weekly payroll as it relates to your project.
• Ability to accurately quote repair and project work yielding an acceptable margin upon completion.
• Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge in order to promote a professional image in the field.
• Read architectural and mechanical drawings and determine proper procedures and methods/materials to estimate and complete projects.
• Review weekly job reports and keep billing and labor on track
• Travel to customers and job sites as required.
• Maintain frequent communication with HVAC Service Manager and Operations Manager.
• Attend any and all necessary department meetings and come well prepared.
• Travel to corporate office for any necessary training and meetings.

Job Summary

The primary function of this role is to sell new small to medium (up to 200k) HVAC projects and recurring maintenance contracts. This position reports directly to the HVAC Service Manager.

This job requires the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced multi-tasked environment with a focus on sales, prospecting for new clients, and customer service. It will require travel to potential/existing customer sites.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Supervise and manage all HVAC work that you sell from ordering materials through purchasing to final completion of the work and confirmation of final billing.
