Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC Service Sales Rep to grow profitable service relationships and renew maintenance agreements within an assigned geographic territory. You will collaborate with branch sales and operations to move opportunities forward and close business.

The role requires 2+ years in commercial HVAC sales, strong presentation skills, and proficiency with sales tools such as Salesforce. A comprehensive benefits package and company vehicle are included.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of progressive commercial sales experience, preferably in commercial HVAC or Building Automation.
• Exposure to sales methodologies, standards, and disciplines.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively in both one‑on‑one and group settings.
• Ability to build relationships, influence decisions, and close business consistently.
• Comfort using sales tools and maintaining accurate records of sales activity and account status.

Responsibilities

• Initiate, establish, and grow profitable service relationships with new customers.
• Sell renewable maintenance agreements as the foundation for long‑term customer partnerships.
• Work an assigned geographic territory in collaboration with local branch sales and operations teams.
• Use sales tools to plan, document, and track sales progress and opportunities.
• Identify and develop new business by uncovering customer needs and market opportunities.
• Conduct sales calls focused on heating, cooling, ventilation, and control system equipment.
• Prepare, review, and finalize proposals and secure customer commitment to the Johnson Controls solution.
• Lead customer kick‑off meetings, support issue resolution, and help maintain and extend service agreements.
• Create pull‑through opportunities, support collections activity, and strengthen account growth.
• Develop territory marketing plans aligned with the Johnson Controls Building Solutions strategy.
• Attend trade shows, participate in professional organizations, and represent Johnson Controls with professionalism.
