Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States seeks a Service Leadership role to coordinate service repair, upgrades, and installation activities for a broad customer base. You will work with sales to price service contracts, support field operations, recruit and develop technicians, and drive customer satisfaction while protecting margins.

The position requires 5+ years in HVAC, leadership of large teams, and project management experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in HVAC or related field.
• 3+ years experience managing large teams and organizing work schedules.
• Project management skills to oversee and drive successful project execution for startups and customer requests.
• Tech-savvy with expertise in Microsoft applications; Salesforce experience considered an asset.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major violations in the past 3 years.
• We prioritize practical experience, relevant skills, and alignment with our leadership principles.

Responsibilities

• P&L responsibility, provide monthly revenue forecasting, help drive service agreement base growth and turnkey growth by partnering with sales.
• Budget Control responsibilities including expenses as compared to targets for overhead items such as fleet, uniforms, tools and safety equipment.
• Risk mitigation - responsible for managing risk in service agreements, service turnkey and repairs work.
• Oversee the service coordination function to respond efficiently to customers, balance technician training, and allocate resources across the district.
• Develop employee skill levels through performance management and technical product training programs.
• Ensure margin expectations are met, maximize cash flow by prompt invoicing, and optimize service utilization.
• Ensure environmental, health and safety compliance within the service team and provide training.
• Travel to customer sites is required; may involve outdoor work and variable conditions.
