Job summary

Trane Technologies in the United States is seeking a Service Technician Team Leader to supervise HVAC field technicians, oversee repairs, retrofits, and installations at customer sites, and ensure system performance and safety. You will coordinate scheduling, provide technical guidance, assist with staffing decisions, manage vehicle maintenance, and collaborate with project managers on on-site work.

Requires an Associate’s degree in HVAC, 5+ years of HVAC experience, EPA Universal Technician

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in HVAC or related field required.
• Minimum five years of HVAC experience.
• EPA Universal Technician Certification.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Working knowledge of HVAC products, systems, electronics and pneumatic controls.

Responsibilities

• Supervise HVAC Field Technicians, providing technical advice and guidance.
• Assist in scheduling, organizing, and dispatching technicians; support staffing decisions.
• Maintain vehicles by keeping service manuals and scheduling repairs.
• Coordinate with Project Manager for on-site installations and repairs.
• Evaluate safety needs and help implement safety policies and training.
