The right candidate will bring proven systems and management experience from a well-run service company and will be responsible for improving processes, coaching technicians, and driving service department revenue.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing a residential HVAC service department.
• Experience at a company with strong, established operating systems preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Comfortable with data and performance metrics.
• Experience with ServiceTitan or similar field service management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and hold accountable the residential HVAC service technician team.
• Build and improve service department systems, processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Manage day to day service operations: dispatch efficiency, technician performance, and job quality.
• Track and drive key performance metrics (revenue per technician, close rates, membership sales, customer satisfaction).
• Partner with ownership on hiring, training, and developing technicians.
• Monitor capacity and staffing needs, and flag hiring priorities before they become urgent.
• Own service department revenue growth and profitability targets.
• Handle escalated customer issues and ensure high quality customer experience.
