Job summary

FirstCall Mechanical is seeking a Service Manager to lead the service department in Lebanon, VA. You will ensure high-quality, on-budget completion of service projects, maintenance agreements, and system repairs.

This role requires 5–7 years of management experience or equivalent supervision, strong leadership, and the ability to develop staff, manage P&Ls, and deliver customer satisfaction. A valid driver’s license and EPA certification are required.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of management experience or supervisory responsibilities.
• Active EPA certificate required.
• Comfortable with computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong leadership and staff development capabilities.
• Proven ability to manage P&L and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing, hiring, scheduling, and performance reviews.
• Assess technician skills and match assignments accordingly.
• Develop training procedures and work standards.
• Coach team to achieve customer satisfaction and sales goals.
• Assist dispatch to select technicians for service types.
• Resolve customer issues and maintain service quality.
• Hold regular one-on-one meetings with team members.
• Ensure materials and equipment are ordered and available for jobs.
• Prepare and manage service quotes and projects to completion.
• Track contracts, hours, and prevent overages on service work.
• Provide after-hours support when needed.
