Tempe Mechanical is seeking a Service Manager for its Commercial HVAC Service Division in Tempe, AZ. The role oversees day-to-day service operations, leads field service teams, and drives new account sales through business development and strong client relationships.

You will manage scheduling, safety, and profitability while mentoring technicians and coordinators. The position offers a compensation of up to $144,000 annually plus bonuses and incentives and requires travel across the Greater

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or technical degree in HVAC or mechanical systems preferred.
• 5–7 years of commercial HVAC experience with 2–3 years in supervision.
• Proven success in service operations and new business development.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with service management/CRM software (ServiceTitan or similar).
• EPA certification and HVAC licensing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all commercial HVAC service operations including maintenance, repairs, and emergency response.
• Manage scheduling, dispatching, and technician workloads for efficiency.
• Review and approve work orders, quotes, and service reports for profitability.
• Pursue and secure new commercial service accounts through prospecting and networking.
• Develop proposals, quotes, and service agreements tailored to client needs.
• Lead, train, and motivate technicians, dispatchers, and coordinators.
• Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve escalated issues.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting for the department.
• Ensure safety compliance and a zero-incident culture.
