Job summary

Done! Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical in the Denver metro area is seeking an HVAC Service Manager who can lead field technicians and drive performance. You’ll coach, develop people, track KPIs, and partner with dispatch to match the right technician to each call.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC.
• Hands-on field experience in the home-service industry.
• Ability to coach, develop, and hold employees accountable.
• Proven ability to manage performance metrics and KPIs.
• Strong customer-service and problem-resolution skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and hold the HVAC service team accountable.
• Conduct weekly 1:1s, technician ride-alongs, and coaching sessions.
• Develop technicians in technical ability, customer service, communication, and performance.
• Track team performance, KPIs, and department goals.
• Provide technical support and help technicians work through challenging calls.
• Partner closely with dispatch to ensure the right technician to the right call.
• Identify underperformance and create clear improvement plans.
• Help create a culture with clear expectations and recognition of great performance.
• Keep the GM updated on department performance, budget projections, and KPIs.
• Be available to support the team when on call and escalate issues.

What You’ll Do

As our HVAC Service Manager, you'll be responsible for the performance, development, and success of our HVAC service team. You'll:

• Lead, manage, and hold the HVAC service team accountable
• Conduct weekly 1:1s, technician ride-alongs, and coaching sessions
• Develop technicians in technical ability, customer service, communication, and performance
• Track team performance, KPIs, and department goals
• Provide technical support and help technicians work through challenging calls

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of management or leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of residential HVAC
• Previous hands-on field experience in the home-service industry
• A leader who is comfortable getting in the truck and into the fieldwith technicians
• Proven ability to coach, develop, and hold employees accountable
• Strong customer-service and problem-resolution skills
• Ability to understand and manage performance metrics and KPIs
• Basic Microsoft Office skills
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
