Job summary

HTS Engineering Ltd. in Houston, TX seeks an experienced Dispatch Coordinator to manage daily service schedules for HVAC technicians and coordinate field operations.

You will dispatch based on location, skill, and availability, while keeping customers informed of confirmations and delays. You will monitor progress, handle incoming service requests, prioritize emergencies, and maintain accurate records in the service management system, collaborating closely with the Service Manager and field team

Qualifications

• 2+ years in dispatching, scheduling, or service coordination.
• Experience in home-services (HVAC/plumbing/electrical) preferred.
• Experience coordinating schedules for 8–15 field technicians is a plus.
• Familiarity with FieldEdge or comparable field service management software preferred.
• Strong organization and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Clear, professional communication, written and verbal.
• Comfort navigating computer systems and scheduling platforms.
• Ability to think quickly, solve problems, and stay composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.

What We're Looking For

• At least 2 years of experience in dispatching, scheduling, or a customer-facing service coordination role
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, restoration, or related home-services industry experience preferred
• Previous experience coordinating schedules for 8–15 field technicians is a plus
• Familiarity with FieldEdge or comparable field service management software strongly preferred
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
• Clear, professional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Comfortable navigating computer systems, scheduling platforms, and service software
• Ability to think on your feet, solve problems, and remain composed in a fast-paced environment
