Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in dispatching, service scheduling, or customer service coordination.
• Background in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, restoration, or similar service-based industry preferred.
• Experience managing dispatch for approximately 8–15 field technicians is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with computers and service management platforms.
• Able to make quick decisions, troubleshoot scheduling issues, and adapt to changing demands.
• Consistent attention to detail and follow-through.
• Professional, dependable, and comfortable working closely with customers and field personnel.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily scheduling and dispatching for HVAC service technicians.
• Assign calls according to technician location, experience, availability, and service priorities.
• Track technician workloads and job progress; adjust assignments as needed.
• Communicate appointment times, schedule changes, and service updates to customers and technicians.
• Handle incoming service inquiries and assist customers with appointment coordination.
• Evaluate urgent service requests and coordinate appropriate technician response.
• Maintain up-to-date customer information and work order details in the service software.
• Coordinate with the Service Manager to keep daily operations organized and efficient.
