Job summary

Daikin Applied Americas, serving Austin with in-office operations, seeks a Service Coordinator to schedule and dispatch technicians, manage customer inquiries, and coordinate startups and warranties. You will handle billing, AP/AR support, and onboarding tasks while maintaining OSHA logs and ERP data integrity.

This role partners with a growing team to ensure timely, accurate service delivery. The ideal candidate has HVAC service exposure, strong Office skills, and the ability to coordinate

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of related experience in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing service strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree may be considered in lieu of work experience.
• Experience working with HVAC Technicians (preferred).
• Experience with Astea and/or any other service tracking software.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch technicians for startups, repairs, warranty, and maintenance.
• Respond to customer inquiries and route technical questions to the right resource.
• Track time and attendance for technicians.
• Coordinate job startups and communicate with customers on scheduling and progress.
• Invoice and bill customers.
• Assist in local office AP/AR functions and ensure payment is received.
• Coordinate warranty administration, parts orders, and shipments.
• Answer phones and greet customers professionally.
• Assist new hires with I-9 and onboarding paperwork.
• Maintain OSHA logs.
• Enter information into ERP system (work orders, customers, technician hours).
• Close-out work orders promptly and file related paperwork.
• Gather local prevailing wage rates and submit hours to HR.
• Provide initial notification of Workers' Compensation claims to insurance.
