Job summary

Daikin Applied, located in Davie, FL, is seeking a Service Coordinator to schedule and dispatch HVAC technicians for startups, repairs, and maintenance. The role involves handling customer inquiries, coordinating with service teams, and ensuring accurate timekeeping and billing.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years in mechanical/electrical/plumbing service, bilingual English/Spanish, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2-4+ years of related experience in mechanical, electrical, or plumbing service field.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish required for communicating with customers, coworkers, or vendors as part of essential job functions.
• Experience working with HVAC Technicians (preferred).
• Experience with Astea and/or any other service tracking software.
• Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and dispatch technicians for startups, repairs, warranty, and maintenance.
• Route technical inquiries to the appropriate resource.
• Track time and attendance for technicians.
• Coordinate job startups and communicate scheduling with customers.
• Invoice and bill customers.
• Assist in local AP/AR functions and follow up on payments.
• Coordinate warranty administration, parts orders, and shipments.
• Answer phones and greet customers professionally.
• Assist new hires with onboarding and required HR paperwork.
• Maintain OSHA logs.
• Enter data into ERP system for work orders, customer information, and technician hours.
• Ensure close-out on work orders and filing of related paperwork.
• Gather local prevailing wage rates and report hours worked by technicians to HR.
• Maintain filing for and office equipment.
• Provide initial notification of Workers Compensation claims to insurance carrier.
