Job summary

STR Mechanical is seeking an HVAC Sales Representative to drive growth in the Greenville, SC area, establishing profitable relationships with new customers and FirstCall Mechanical. You will initiate, qualify, and close service opportunities, emphasizing renewables, digital service offerings, sustainability, and decarbonization.

Qualifications

• 2-3 progressive sales roles in HVAC or related field.
• Retrofit and PM sales experience preferred.
• Technical knowledge with high attention to detail.
• Strong presentation skills for individual and group settings.
• Experience selling service and maintenance.
• Exposure to sales methodologies and disciplines.
• Knowledge of Building HVAC Systems.

Responsibilities

• Identify, target and qualify prospective new customers; leverage market networks to uncover leads.
• Contact prospective customers and schedule appointments.
• Build a referral network to identify new customers.
• Conduct sales calls to identify problems in HVAC systems of facilities.
• Develop urgency and position STR Mechanical as the supplier of choice.
• Propose solutions through local service capabilities, focusing on digital offerings and decarbonization.
• Understand customer business and communicate in their language.
• Review proposals and secure commitments to STR Mechanical solutions.
• Lead kick-off meetings, resolve issues, and support service agreements and collections.
• Maintain progress/status using BuildOps and other tools.
• Develop territory marketing plans aligned with business strategy.
