Blue Dot Heating, Air Conditioning is hiring a Sales Manager in Maryland to lead in-home sales reps (Comfort Advisors) and collaborate with the Branch Sales Manager and General Manager. You will recruit, train, coach, and develop the team while aligning with service technicians to boost replacement opportunities.

The role emphasizes developing people, driving performance, and achieving monthly HVAC sales targets, with flexibility to support retail lead generation and weekend operations as needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales leadership experience; in-home sales experience preferred.
• HVAC industry experience, residential replacement sales or service-to-sales preferred.
• Proven ability to motivate, train, and coach sales professionals to improve performance.
• Understanding of sales processes, lead management, and customer relationship building.
• Strong communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales managers, service technicians, and branch leadership.
• Comfortable conducting field ride-alongs, providing real-time coaching, and holding team members accountable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus.
• Flexibility to support weekend retail sales operations as needed.
• Goal-driven mindset with a passion for developing people and delivering results.

Responsibilities

• Support the Branch Sales Manager and General Manager with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching in-home sales representatives (Comfort Advisors).
• Conduct sales meetings, ride-alongs, and one-on-one coaching sessions to strengthen sales skills and improve performance.
• Motivate, mentor, and develop Comfort Advisors to consistently achieve monthly HVAC sales goals.
• Work directly with HVAC service technicians to identify replacement opportunities during service calls.
• Coach technicians on opportunity calls, customer communication, and the lead turnover process to maximize sales opportunities.
• Partner with service and sales leadership to improve lead quality, turnover rates, and overall sales conversion.
• Assist with weekend retail sales operations and support retail lead generation efforts, including visits to partner stores as needed.
• Monitor sales performance, track KPIs, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Help create a culture of accountability, teamwork, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement.
• Provide regular performance updates and recommendations to branch leadership.
