Job summary

Morin Hydronics is seeking recent or upcoming graduates for its Mechanical Sales Engineer-in-Training program in Ashland, VA. The 12–18 month program builds HVAC product knowledge, customer service, sales experience, and field exposure to prepare for a Sales Engineering role.

Participants will learn from leading manufacturers, gain experience with proposals, pricing, and bid communications, and collaborate with Havtech teams to support customers throughout design and fulfillment stages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, construction, engineering technology or related field.
• Aspires to become a successful Sales Engineer.
• Strong interest in the HVAC industry and related career path.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Ability to function independently and deliver results.

Responsibilities

• Learn the equipment sales process by creating estimates and proposals for HVAC systems for new construction and renovation projects.
• Learn manufacturer product lines and products represented by Morin Hydronics.
• Learn construction project management and order fulfillment processes by supporting the Applications Engineering Department.
• Support Senior Sales Engineers in the selling process and account management activities.
• Learn industry processes following a sale, including site walks and project planning.
