Job summary

Service Experts is seeking a Residential Sales Consultant (RSC) to diagnose customers’ comfort needs and present high-efficiency HVAC and water heater options. This outside sales role blends consultative selling, education, and relationship management with leads supplied and proactive prospecting.

You will travel to residential sites, collaborate with our technical team, and stay informed about the latest energy-efficient technologies to ensure a 100% customer satisfaction experience.

Qualifications

• High school degree or GED required; a Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of proven sales experience, preferably direct-to-consumer (B2C).
• Strong business development, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with the ability to translate customer concerns into business solutions.

Responsibilities

• Consultative selling: present tailored comfort options for high-efficiency HVAC and water heater systems.
• Customer experience champion: build lasting relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and trust.
• Sales generation: drive growth via internal leads and your own prospect pipeline to close sales.
• Onsite collaboration: partner with technical team during site visits to tailor solutions to homes.
• Industry expertise: stay updated on trends, energy-efficient technology, and service methods.
