Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration in Hilton Head Island, SC. The role installs and maintains commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across facilities, reading plans and coordinating with managers to meet codes and service needs.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues, perform preventive maintenance, mentor junior technicians, drive a company vehicle, and participate in on-call rotations to support store operations.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R technical certification or 2+ years in maintenance.
• EPA refrigerant handling certification required.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and service HVAC and refrigeration systems on commercial sites.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues and perform repairs.
• Lead and mentor junior technicians and apprentices on safety and procedures.
• Operate company vehicle and coordinate service calls.
