Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Technician, Facility Services, HVAC/Refrigeration in Palm Bay, FL to install, configure, and maintain commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems across multiple facilities. You will work with building controls, follow safety standards, and coordinate with managers to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

HVAC/R certification and 2 years’ experience in mechanical maintenance or construction-related field.
EPA 608 certification for refrigerant handling.
Valid state driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Install HVAC and refrigeration systems and related components across facilities.
Configure and calibrate low ambient and direct digital control systems.
Interpret plans and schematics to ensure proper setup and code compliance.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues and perform repairs.
Lead and mentor junior technicians and apprentices on procedures and safety.
