Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration to support Cape Girardeau, MO facilities. You will install and service HVAC and refrigeration units, calibrate controls, and ensure compliance with building codes.

The role requires EPA certification and a valid driver's license, with a focus on safe, efficient operations. You may work across multiple facilities, mentor junior technicians, and participate in on‑call rotations.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification and 2 years' maintenance or construction experience.
• EPA certification for refrigerant handling (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid state driver's license with clean motor vehicle record.

Responsibilities

• Installs HVAC and refrigeration systems including ductwork and control panels.
• Calibrates low ambient systems and direct digital controls to spec.
• Diagnoses mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues in commercial/industrial systems.
• Performs preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce downtime.
• Coordinates and communicates service outcomes with customers.
