Job summary
Walmart Distribution Center in Waxahachie, TX seeks a Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration to install, maintain and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems in commercial settings. Qualifications
- HVAC/R certification required or 2 years’ related experience.
- 4 years’ mechanical maintenance or construction-related experience in commercial HVAC/R.
- EPA 608 refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II or universal).
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and calibrate HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues in commercial/industrial equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Adhere to OSHA and EPA 608 protocols during service activities.
- Lead and mentor field teams, ensuring safety practices.
- Manage service calls, coordinate with external providers, and maintain records.
- Operate company vehicles to complete service within regions.
