Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Technician, Facility Services, HVAC-Refrigeration in Odessa, TX. You will install HVAC/refrigeration systems, calibrate controls, and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues across commercial environments.

This role includes preventive maintenance, safety compliance, and leading junior technicians. The position offers full-time hours, shift variability, and the opportunity to contribute to energy management and cold-chain reliability at our facility.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification and 2 years' maintenance experience.
• Alternatively, 4 years' maintenance/related field experience.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant handling certs.
• Valid state driver’s license with clean MVR and CDL requirements if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC and refrigeration systems, including ductwork and controls.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues on commercial systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and minimize downtime.
• Lead field teams and mentor junior technicians on procedures and safety.
