Job summary

Alfa Laval is seeking a Field Sales Specialist to identify opportunities and close direct sales of gasket plate heat exchangers services in Central USA. The role will be based in Indianapolis, IN or Kenosha, WI and requires strong HVAC sales experience and a track record of growing customer relationships.

As part of our team, you will develop sales plans, visit customers, collaborate with service operations, and use Alfa Laval tools to evaluate energy savings for sustainability goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of HVAC service, projects or parts sales experience.
• Proven track record building customer relationships.
• Knowledge of HVAC, cooling towers or chillers desired.
• Travel availability around 60%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales plans for target accounts within Commercial & Residential HVAC and Industrial Refrigeration.
• Discover new business opportunities in HVAC and Refrigeration; develop heat exchangers service.
• Be active in the market with visits, meetings and customer interactions to understand needs and show value.
• Collaborate with service operations to provide superior customer experience.
• Perform energy saving evaluation using Alfa Laval tools to help customers meet sustainability goals.
• Own lead-to-fulfillment process including prospecting, negotiation, securing purchase orders.
• Use the CRM and other tools to support sales decisions.
