Job summary

Walmart in Summerville, SC is seeking an HVAC/R technician to install, diagnose, repair, and maintain commercial refrigeration and building systems at multiple facilities. You will mentor junior technicians and coordinate with managers to meet service goals.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification required or equivalent.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal refrigerant handling certification.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR where required.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC and refrigeration systems including ductwork and control panels.
• Calibrate direct digital controls to meet specs and criteria.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues across systems.
• Lead field teams and mentor apprentices on procedures and safety.
• Operate company vehicle and participate in on-call rotation.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA 608 standards.
