Job summary

Walmart in Humboldt, TN is seeking an HVAC/R technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and system updates across multiple facilities. You will develop scopes of work, troubleshoot HVAC/R issues, and ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA regulations in daily operations.

Under supervision, you will submit warranty claims, coordinate with management and partners, and manage preventive maintenance schedules while maintaining safety and cost control.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.
• Hold and maintain Universal or Type I and Type II EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, completes HVAC/R work assignments and priorities.
• Performs major and minor preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R equipment.
• Schedules major repairs and maintenance and coordinates with managers and partners.
• Submits warranty claims and maintains equipment records.
