Job summary

Pyramid Global Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Training Center in Westlake, TX is hiring a Full-time HVAC/R Tech for 2nd shift. Pay rate is $22.00 per hour. On-site role with benefits and opportunities for career growth within our 230+ properties.

Responsibilities include performing maintenance, handling work orders, and ensuring safe operation of building systems. Requires HVAC/R experience, EPA CFC certification, and a valid Texas license.

Qualifications

• Two years’ building maintenance experience required.
• One year HVAC/R repairs experience or HVAC/R school certification required.
• EPA CFC Type I and Type II required; universal preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Completes work orders for HVAC/R equipment and consults with Sr. Tech when needed.
• Performs preventative maintenance and keeps logs updated.
• Performs duty rounds using daily checklists and reports issues.
• Identifies problems, starts work orders and completes repairs within scope.
• Ensures proper use of Building Management System and Life Safety Systems.
• Maintains a safe, clean workspace and inventory of tools.
• Adheres to PPE use and safety protocols; uses maintenance request system.
• Assists with maintenance requests for other trades as needed.

Job Opportunity: HVAC/R Tech

Location: Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Training Center
Shift: 2nd shift
Payrate: $22.00 per hour
Status: Full time

Essential Functions

• Completes work orders submitted for HVAC/R equipment within the property. Confers with Sr. HVAC/R Tech on issues unable to be resolved.
• Performs preventative maintenance and maintains logs in an organized manner.
• Performs duty rounds by using daily checklists. Reports on and corrects noted problems.
• Identifies problems, initiates work orders, completes assigned work orders, and performs all necessary repairs within their expertise.
• Responsible for correct use of building systems such as Building Management System and Life Safety Systems (training provided).
• Maintains a safe, clean, and efficient workspace. Responsible for maintaining inventory of tools in use.
• Works in a safe manner, including proper use of PPE and following safety protocols.
• Responsible for correct use of maintenance request system (training provided).
• Assists with maintenance requests for other trades, as needed.

Qualifications

• Two years’ building maintenance experience required.
• One year experience in HVAC/R repairs or HVAC/R school certification required.
• EPA CFC Type I and Type II required. Universal preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and plumbing blueprints.
• Skilled with using tools required in this trade.
• Texas Driver’s License with good driving record preferred.

Compensation: $22.00 per hour
