BENCHMARK is seeking a full-time HVAC/R Technician to join our team at the Deloitte University Hotel & Training Center in Westlake, Texas. This role involves maintaining HVAC/R systems across the property and ensuring preventative maintenance is conducted accurately.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of building maintenance experience.
• Minimum one year of HVAC/R repair experience or HVAC/R school certification.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and plumbing blueprints.
• Texas driver’s license with a good driving record preferred.

Position Overview

HVAC/R Technician – Benchmark Hospitality at Deloitte University Hotel & Training Center, 2nd shift, full‑time, $22.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders for HVAC/R equipment across the property.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and maintain accurate logs.
• Conduct duty rounds using daily checklists and report any issues.
• Identify equipment problems, initiate and complete necessary repairs.
• Use Building Management System and Life Safety Systems as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace, inventory of tools, and required PPE.
• Assist other trades with maintenance requests when necessary.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of building maintenance experience.
• Minimum one year of HVAC/R repair experience or HVAC/R school certification.
• EPA CFC TypeI and TypeII certification (required). Universal certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and plumbing blueprints.
• Proficiency with trade tools.
• Texas driver’s license with a good driving record (preferred).
