Job summary

DeBra-Kuempel Inc. is actively seeking an HVAC/R Service Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, install and troubleshoot heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings.

The role requires reading schematics, using computer-based tools, and safety-conscious operation. The ideal candidate will have HVAC/R experience, electrical knowledge, and the ability to communicate with customers while documenting work and coordinating with the Service

Qualifications

• Experience in HVAC/R mechanic work including installation and maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose, maintain, adjust, repair, and replace HVAC systems.
• Proficient with reading schematics and blueprints and using computer-based tech.
• Commitment to safety and PPE as per codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heating and cooling equipment.
• Install and startup HVAC equipment as required.
• Diagnose, repair, and perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC/R systems.
• Communicate with customers about planned tasks and issues.
• Document hours, materials, and processes; submit reports.
• Respond to emergency service calls after hours when needed.
