DeBra-Kuempel Inc. is seeking a skilled HVAC/R Service Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, installation, and repair of heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings.

The ideal candidate will diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC/R equipment, read schematics and blueprints, and utilize computer-based technology. Strong electrical safety and communication skills are essential for this role.

Qualifikationen

• Experience required in HVAC/R mechanic work including installation and maintenance of heating and air conditioning equipment.
• Ability to diagnose, maintain, adjust, repair, and replace HVAC systems and components.
• Possess prior computer experience and be able and willing to learn and effectively utilize computer-based technology.
• Proficient in electrical safety procedures.
• Proficient in risk assessment and determination of PPE appropriate to specific tasking.
• Competent analyzing situations and making technical and safety decisions based on specifications and codes.
• Good organizational, communication and planning skills.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heating and cooling equipment.
• Install and startup HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, and perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC/R systems.
• Communicate with customers regarding tasking and issues.
• Advise HVAC Service Manager of progress and material needs.
• Order replacement parts as needed.
• Work with electrical components from disconnect to equipment.
• Submit reports as required by supervisor.
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls.
• Document hours, tasks, materials, and processes.
