DeBra-Kuempel Inc. is hiring an HVAC/R Service Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance, installation, and repair of heating, cooling, and refrigeration systems in commercial and industrial settings.

The role requires diagnosing HVAC/R equipment, following schematics and blueprints, and using computer-based technology. The candidate should have experience with electrical components and a safety-first mindset, and be able to work scheduled shifts and respond to emergency

Qualifications

• HVAC/R mechanic experience in installation and maintenance.
• Ability to diagnose, maintain, adjust, repair, and replace HVAC systems and components.
• Willingness to learn computer-based technology.
• Proficient in electrical safety procedures.
• Strong communication and planning skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on heating and cooling equipment.
• Install and startup various HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose, repair, and perform scheduled maintenance on HVAC/R systems.
• Communicate with customers regarding task progress and impacts.
• Order replacement parts and document work performed.
• Travel to job sites within the servicing territory as required.
