Job summary

Hussmann seeks a sales professional to develop relationships with decision makers in supermarket refrigeration and commercial facilities. You will listen to needs, craft programs, and drive end-to-end project delivery from conception to completion.

You will also manage the district’s sales plan, forecast annually, and report to the District Manager, while coordinating with operations and service teams to ensure project readiness.

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ability to prepare reports and forecasts.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours as required.
• Basic knowledge of refrigeration/HVAC preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
• Willingness to travel within the region.

Responsibilities

• Provide total account business reports and annual forecasts.
• Gather information and perform facility walk-throughs to assess opportunities.
• Estimate project/service agreements by analyzing equipment, controls, subcontractors, and services.
• Develop project/service fulfillment schedules and finalize proposals.
• Prepare and review contract scope; drive customer retention via service agreements.
• Coordinate transition to operations and manage readiness for assignment.
• Conduct cold calls on new and existing accounts for supermarkets refrigeration.
• Support development of new constructions and remodel projects.
• Plan and coordinate distribution of projects with store managers and service teams.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned.
