Job summary

Hussmann, a Panasonic USA subsidiary, seeks a seasoned HVAC/R Technician to maintain, diagnose and repair refrigeration and related systems in supermarkets and cold storage facilities. You will operate independently with minimal supervision and develop first-line customer relations while identifying potential sales opportunities.

The role requires EPA 608 Certification, a High School Diploma (HVAC-R preferred), and 5–7 years of field experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years in the field or 5 years with HVAC/R technical school certification.
• High school diploma required; HVAC-R technical training preferred.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains, diagnoses and repairs refrigeration, heating and air-conditioning systems in supermarket and retail settings.
• Operates independently with minimal supervision and builds first-line customer relations.
• Identifies sales opportunities while performing preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Manages inventory, orders parts, and maintains vehicle and equipment per policy.
• Completes documentation accurately using handheld devices.
