Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Facilities Services HVAC/R technician in Albuquerque, NM. Under supervision, you will perform routine maintenance, repairs, and installations on HVAC/R systems and energy management controls.

You will collect data, billable hours, and ensure compliance with safety regulations while coordinating with managers and teams. The role requires EPA 608 certification (or within 90 days), a valid driver's license, and 1–2 years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• EPA 608 Certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to pass MVR.
• 1 year experience in plumbing/electrical or related area; or 2 years Walmart store experience.
• Commercial driving record clean of major violations in last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC/R equipment and controls.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose HVAC/R problems and implement repairs.
• Assist with energy management systems and building automation.
• Prepare and submit forms, warranty claims, and maintenance invoices.
• Coordinate major repairs and schedule work across facilities.
• Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers and partners to meet priorities.
