Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Licensed Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager to lead HVAC/R and general building maintenance across a regional market. You will build and coach a team of skilled technicians, partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services to identify needs, and drive reliability through data and root-cause analysis.

Requires an active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license, EPA Universal Certification, and 3–5 years in facilities management or related fields.

Qualifications

• Current HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in good standing in the state of residence.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• 3–5 years of experience in facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering or related field.
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge and leadership ability.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across assigned locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify facility needs.
• Use reporting, analytics and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed; maintain licensing and permits.
• Conduct site inspections to support safety, quality and compliance standards.
