Job summary

Walmart is seeking a Developmental Technician, Facility Services HVAC/R to support maintenance and repair of HVAC/R systems across multiple facilities. You will complete required paperwork, assist with capital expenditure planning, and perform preventive maintenance and repairs under supervision.

Qualifications

• Hold and maintain Universal or Type I and Type II Environmental Protection Agency certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state-issued driver`s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
• Option 1: 1 year of experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
• Option 2: 2 years' Walmart store experience.
• EPA 608 Certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Complete and submit required paperwork, including expense vouchers, refrigerant logs, and work orders, to senior leadership.
• Assist in gathering capital expenditure lists and develop scopes of work for HVAC/R and energy management system updates.
• Perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and troubleshooting on HVAC/R equipment under supervision.
• Collaborate with management, coworkers, and business partners to identify priorities, communicate progress, and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations by following safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain company vehicles and coordinate required maintenance and documentation.
• Adapt to change and support continuous improvement initiatives.
