Job summary

Walmart is seeking an HVAC technician to install and service HVAC systems, ductwork, and control components at various Walmart facilities. You will configure direct digital controls and building automation to meet operational needs while ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities include diagnostics, preventive maintenance, inspections, and timely repairs under supervision. You will work at multiple sites, manage parts usage, and participate in on-call rotations to

Qualifications

• HVAC certification or equivalent required.
• 2 years’ mechanical maintenance or related field experience for commercial HVAC and controls.
• Option 1: 4 years’ experience in related trades.
• Option 2: 2 years’ store experience.

Responsibilities

• Installs HVAC systems and related building equipment per plans and specs.
• Configures controls and building automation to meet requirements.
• Diagnoses and resolves mechanical, electrical, and control issues.
• Performs preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Maintains documentation of inspections, parts usage, and work orders.
• On-call rotations approximately every 4–6 weeks.
