Walmart Pensacola location seeks an experienced HVAC/R technician to install and service commercial refrigeration systems, read blueprints, and perform preventive maintenance. You will diagnose electrical and refrigerant issues, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and coordinate with management for parts and scheduling.

The role requires field mobility, strong troubleshooting, and the ability to mentor Apprentices while delivering high service standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification with at least 2 years of mechanical maintenance or related field.
• Alternate requirement: 4 years in mechanical maintenance or related field.
• EPA 608 refrigerant handling certification (Type I/II or Universal).
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record and ability to pass MVR.
• HVAC/R program completion and ability to read blueprints/schematics (preferred).

Responsabilités

• Installs HVAC and refrigeration systems and related components.
• Diagnoses and resolves mechanical, electrical, and refrigerant issues.
• Performs preventive maintenance to extend equipment life.
• Trains and mentors technicians and apprentices.
• Drives company vehicle to service calls and coordinates with stakeholders.
• Maintains OSHA/EPA compliance and documents refrigerant handling.
• Responds to on-call incidents and escalates as needed.
