Job summary

Walmart in Lynn Haven, FL is seeking an experienced HVAC/R Technician to install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems across multiple facilities. You will interpret schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and mentor Apprentices while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Role involves driving a company vehicle, on-call rotations, and coordinating with managers and service partners to minimize downtime and protect refrigerant handling protocols.

Qualifications

• HVAC/R certification required with 2+ years in mechanical maintenance or related field.
• EPA Type I/II or Universal certification for refrigerant handling.
• Valid state driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install and service HVAC/R systems and building controls.
• Lead field teams and mentor apprentices on technical procedures and safety.
• Coordinate service calls and manage parts and refrigerants inventory.
• Communicate with customers and ensure compliance with OSHA/EPA standards.
