Job summary

Tessiers Mechanical Contractors is seeking a QA/QC Manager to lead all quality assurance and quality control activities for the HVAC scope on a major project. The role requires strong collaboration with engineering, BIM, fabrication, and field teams to ensure first-time quality and minimize rework.

The ideal candidate has extensive HVAC knowledge, a background in large-scale mechanical construction, and familiarity with QA/QC processes, design reviews, and commissioning support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is required or preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of mechanical construction experience with strong QA/QC leadership background.
• Extensive knowledge of commercial/industrial HVAC systems and related codes.
• Experience with pharmaceutical, industrial, healthcare, or mission-critical projects is preferred.
• ISO 9001 knowledge and experience with inspection/testing protocols is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead all QA/QC activities for Tessiers HVAC scope on the project.
• Maintain and continuously develop the Project Quality Management Plan.
• Maintain project-specific quality standards and inspection procedures.
• Promote a culture of Build It Right the First Time and prevent deficiencies.
• Serve as primary quality liaison among Tessiers, GC, customer, and design professionals.
• Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and IWPs for major scopes.
