Job summary

IES is seeking a HVAC/Plumbing Quality Control Specialist to support QA/QC for installations, systems, and projects. You will work with field crews, project teams, and leadership to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to codes and safety requirements.

The role involves inspections, documentation, and coordinating corrective actions to improve installation quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's in Construction Management, Quality Management, or related field preferred.
• HVAC/plumbing field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections, audits, and evaluations of HVAC and plumbing installations to ensure compliance with standards and codes.
• Monitor installation activities and processes to verify quality objectives are met.
• Review blueprints and work orders to verify correct HVAC and plumbing installations.
• Document deficiencies and communicate corrective actions to field personnel.
• Maintain quality control records and project documentation.
• Collaborate with project management and operations to resolve quality concerns.
• Verify completion of corrective actions through follow-up inspections.
