Job summary

Harris Companies, inc., a national mechanical contractor, seeks a QA/QC Specialist to lead QA/QC for regional HVAC projects. You’ll manage processes, inspect sites, and collaborate across teams to meet project standards, budgets, and deadlines.

You’ll partner with subcontractors and fabrication teams to ensure materials and methods align with specifications, while supporting preconstruction strategies and project documentation delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, or construction engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of QA/QC experience required.
• 2+ years of business administration and management principles experience.
• 2+ years of knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles.
• 2+ years of knowledge of fabrication/manufacturing quality control processes and procedures.
• Strong understanding of mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and comprehend construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Partner with QA/QC Manager to create quality control processes, forms, and systems for tracking.
• Create QA/QC training for Project Management team and foreman.
• Perform site visits to inspect QA/QC processes.
• Coordinate testing and inspections with independent agencies to ensure proper execution.
• Work with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with project standards.
