Job summary

CoreWise Workforce Strategy Partners is seeking a Quality Assurance/Quality Control Manager to lead the QA/QC team on the manufacturing floor. You will collaborate with Production, Engineering, Testing, Supply Chain, and Operations to improve product quality, reduce rework, and implement sustainable quality processes as the company grows.

The role is hands-on on the plant floor with accountability for identifying problems and delivering practical, durable solutions to ensure quality throughout

Qualifications

• Experience leading QA/QC teams in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to establish and manage NCR processes and CAPA programs.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with trend analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the QA/QC team, including Inspectors and Technicians.
• Identify quality gaps, defects, rework, and risks in manufacturing processes.
• Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures across production.
• Establish quality checkpoints to catch defects at the source.
• Manage NCR process from documentation to closure.
• Lead root cause analysis for significant quality issues.
• Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Create and improve SOPs, work instructions, and inspection procedures.
• Conduct in-process and final inspections of equipment.
• Ensure units meet drawings, specs, and customer requirements.
• Review drawings, BOMs, and specs to ensure quality compliance.
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering to reduce defects and improve first-pass quality.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain on supplier quality issues.
• Train employees on quality standards and procedures.
• Promote a culture of built-in quality throughout production.
