Job summary

Modigent Company is seeking a Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC projects from preconstruction to closeout, coordinating field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to deliver on-time, on-budget results with a strong focus on safety and quality.

You will collaborate with operations leadership, identify risks and opportunities, track budgets, and drive profitability while building lasting client relationships nationwide across our operating brands.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial HVAC/mechanical construction or related building services
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience with HVAC knowledge considered
• Certifications such as PMP, LEED, OSHA 30-hour are a plus; valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle: planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, change orders, and closeout for HVAC/mechanical projects
• Review bid documents, drawings, and scopes early to identify issues and opportunities; develop workable solutions
• Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, and operations teams to create realistic schedules, budgets, and project plans
• Track project budgets, costs, labor productivity, variances, and forecasts; implement corrective actions as needed
• Organize and lead coordination meetings, site walks, and progress reviews with detailed documentation
• Ensure adherence to contract documents, specifications, safety requirements, quality expectations, and ethical standards
