Job summary

Modigent seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC projects from preconstruction to closeout. You will coordinate field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to deliver on-time, on-budget results with focus on safety and quality.

You will work closely with operations leadership to identify risks and opportunities, track budgets, and drive profitability while building long-term relationships across our nationwide operating brands.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of progressive project management experience in commercial HVAC/mechanical construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage full project lifecycle: planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, change orders, and closeout for HVAC/mechanical projects.
• Review bid documents, drawings, and scopes to identify issues and propose solutions.
• Collaborate with preconstruction, estimating, and operations to meet milestones and financial targets.
• Track budgets, costs, labor productivity, variances, and forecasts; implement corrective actions.
• Lead coordination meetings, site walks, and progress reviews; document scope changes and costs.
